I still haven't had a chance to put any pics up, but I did mange to get a good start on a teletubby hat for my son. It's going to be a "Po" hat with the twisty bit on top, that will be fun to knit. I'm amazed I got anything done today, I have been flat out doing house and children things, not to mention the laundry, ugh.This is the news I normally read. That's all for now. Rowena.

Well, here I am, typing away again. Hopefully today I'll work out how to show my pictures here.

Well maybe it will publish this time around, forgive me as I'm new to this today!

Well after reading the other knitblogs out there, I have decided to take the plunge and start one too. I'm Rowena, I started knitting a few months ago properly, even though my mother taught me a little as a child. I remember knitting a few inches and then stopping, too much of a tom boy to get into it then I suppose. Three years ago I got given a book with the basic stitches in it and a few easy patterns, so I knitted up a jersey for my baby that was due soon. Then only the other day decided I wanted to get into it seriously and knitted some mittens, which were good for practising on. Will post pics later. Thats all for now.
