Strange Days

So this morning I took a few photos of my garden. The sunflowers that Daughter brought home from kindy back before christmas are huge now. They aren't giant sunflowers obviously as they are only a little higher than 5 and a half foot high. But they are still pretty cool to look at.



And. The red double dahlia that is lovely as well.



It's nice to have the children back doing stuff in more of a routine. Hopefully Son will learn to do things more this year academically and physically. He can already skate much better from the practise he's had over the holidays.

Watching Lost Season 2, Biggest Loser (2nd one around), House, and have noticed from the tv ads that Criminal Intent is starting up again next Sunday.

It's Raining Again

So Son is back in school and Daughter is at kindy again for the first time this year. It feels quite strange to have some quieter time on my hands now. Went to a friends wedding, and then the reception. Good times.

Lots of flowers are blooming, vegetables are getting bigger. Many Monarch chrysalis' are hanging up around the place. Grass is nice and short and I've been enjoying the garden while it's nice and warm.

Getting some knitting done, doing a swatch for a hooded jersey for Daughter at the moment, still haven't decided on a pattern. Think I'll make her some gloves first though.
