Plants are doing well, tomatoes, cucumbers, pumpkins, courgettes, lettuces, runner beans, strawberries, onions etc... The plants I want to do well this season are the tomatoes, as I want to try out some sauce recipes. Of course I want the other plants to do well also too! The lettuces are doing okay, though I should be watering them a bit more - starting tomorrow I will. There are 25 of them left, having only one of them die in the heat, plus it was smaller than the rest too.
The broad beans are finished and I've saved some seed for this year's crop. I've composted today in the gaps where I want to put some seeds. There are butter beans, spring onions, peas and red onions to put in the ground soon.
